CJ’s Poem

Dogs, dogs, in our care looking for a life to share,

Olduns, younguns and puppies too,

But some are abandoned just for eating your shoe.

Big ones, small ones and medium ones too,

All looking for cuddles from someone like you.

Puppies are playful but old ones may not be,

But they both have a right to have a home were they’re happy.

Puppies are cheeky,

But old ones are sleepy,

And they all have fur that is really silky.

Every dog has a right to have fun,

Playing outside in the sun

Chasing a ball or catching a Frisbee

Splashing in rivers getting very giddy.

Dogs, dogs, in our care looking for a life to share,

But some people don’t care.
